Who is Mornington Peninsula DJ

Based on the Mornington Peninsula, Troy Saunders, AKA Jimmy is the hottest genre diverse dj on the wedding and event scene. His musical style is described as a “clash of old and new nostalgia, combining mixes, loops and drops of disco, soul, house, rnb, indie and pop.

Jimmy radiates positive and friendly vibes; he has made a name for himself for his innate ability to set the scene for a get down and boogie party. His sets include hidden gems and forgotten favourites and his trade mark atmospheric percussion, swooping synth and riff samples give the crowd what they want with a little edge to create a live authentic dance floor moment.

His dj story began when he was just 14 years of age having purchased his first set of turntables and a mixer. Influenced by the original 80’s and 90’s Hip Hop and House masters. Now with over 20 years experience he continues to develop his mixing, mc and producing skills. He finds fulfilment and balance by sharing and creating memories at weddings, special occasions and events.

Career highlights include djing internationally in the U.K and France, locally at Melbourne club institutes One Six One and the Lounge. Working at V.I.P corporate events for brands the likes of Asahi, Swisse, Pepsi, Aussie Bodies, Monster Energy, Milk & Co skincare and Schweppes.
